POCU is locally-owned, and our board of directors is elected by our credit union members. Decisions about the organization, its direction, programs and policies are made by our board for the benefit of our membership- great people who work or live in Dane County who are saving to buy a home, finance a child’s education or buy a car.
Getting the best deal on your next vehicle is practically guaranteed if you can break apart the transaction. Think about your car purchase in three phases: (1) trade-in, (2) vehicle choice, and (3) financing. The more separate and distinct you can keep those three steps, and the better able you are to keep emotion out of the purchase, the better your financial position will be.
